How do you fail at this

Posted on: July 5, 2011

Colorblindness isn’t rare, and at least one of WordPress’s themes is completely inaccessible to me.  (Red hyperlinks, black text, no underlining except with mouseover.  Can’t see the difference.) I haven’t looked at the others in depth or anything but how do you manage to make your prepackaged themes inaccesible.  You’re not a person throwing up a blog in thirty seconds and not putting that much thought into their theme, you’re one of the most popular blogging sites on the internet.

This is something you should have figured out by now!

I know Amanda Baggs uses that theme… glargh. and of course I have to ~pay~ to fix it *eyeroll*

honestly I like WP better than Blogger, but it still sucks. At least the themes might be better than Tumblr?

Yeah I noticed my theme the links would be invisible with one of the actually rare varieties of colorblindness, but I can’t, you know, add the one line to the CSS that would fix everything without paying money.

“We’ll give you inaccessible and broken themes and then charge you money to fix them!” Yeah that’s not a good business model. >..<
