Short version: The game is pretty good, beyond one plot point that I really hated and wasn’t very well done at all. Also it stars a woman without much sexism, so that always helps. (I’m focusing mostly on video games and fantasy here, but the general ideas definitely appear elsewhere in speculative fiction, and moreso in other media.
